Lighthouse shot in Kythira Greece, There was a village wedding at the church to the right.
Blue window shot in Kythira Island Greece.
This photo was shot in the Aegean Sea Greece sometime in July. We were cruising and visiting islands in the Aegean & Ionian Sea.
I had never seen these water sports before and it was fun shooting.
The guy actually took a long time to keep his balance up but he managed up for a few seconds and then the final fall in the sea.
Ides of March?
Nature is blooming and buzzing with life and its only the beginning of March!. a little odd but who cares; its gorgeous and I will enjoy mother nature and the weather to its fullest .
Very lucky living in Greece you never know how the day will turn out. Usually its sunny even if cold and wet with a lot of humidity in the evening. Living near the sea it can get real bad often 95% humidity .
I always take the opportunity to "rip" myself from my daily chores (chuckle chuckle) and grab my camera to check on nature for that infamous 'perfect shot', the island is super green at present with Spring wild flowers everywhere.
Another gorgeous day today , had chores downtown so I grabbed my gear and off I went to see If I could find something interesting.
Ok let me explain. The island across in the photo is not the white cliffs of Dover but the island of Tinos in the Aegean sea in Greece . On a very calm and beautiful day with no wind etc. you feel that you can almost touch it or swim towards it.
I photographed this mannequin in the window because I thought to myself who in heavens name has legs looking like these and imagine a dress worn on these stilts. I just found it really funny.
Man walking in the middle of the high street. I was lucky with this shot as it gets very busy with traffic during the shopping hours.
Finally Billy the curious goat. He was checking up on my tele zoom . I was lucky to have him stand dead still for the shot.
Unusually warm in Greece for this time of the year, I mean its November for Peats sake ... I know I know don't complain here it rains every day keep hearing it from my friends in the UK.
Anyway to cut a long story short got sick of my pots & pans grabbed my gear and off I went. Well I thought of driving down at the fishing marina to find something exciting to shoot. To be honest I wasn't in a 'post card' type of mood cute little fishing boats and all that so I went something more interesting well at least for now. The 'Fishing Nets' and my photo I named 'Water Reflexions Under Boat's Hull'.
Hope you like them....... See you all on my next shoot!.
